Availability

With the availability module, recruiters can ask for the availability of candidates on a detailed level. The availability module is a module that was originally developed for our retail customers, that often work in shifts during the week, but also during evenings, nights, and weekends.

The module consists of two parts:

  • Work shifts
  • Hours per week

Work shifts

  • The default question is ' When are you available to work?'. This is customizable.
  • You can add an optional description.
  • By default, Monday-Friday is selected from 8 am to 8 pm. You can add or remove shifts.
  • Monday - Sunday
  • Morning shift 8:00 to 12:00
  • Afternoon Shift 12:00 to 16:00
  • Evening Shift 16:00 to 20:00
  • Night Shift 20:00 to 0:00
  • You can make the question mandatory for the candidate. If you don’t make it mandatory, the candidate can skip the question and then the recruiter won’t know the availability.

Hours per week

  • The default question is ' How many hours per week are you available to work?'. This is customizable.
  • You can add an optional description.
  • Choose whether you want to show this question in the journey. The question is enabled by default.
  • By default, the minimum hours per week is set at 12 and maximum hours per week is set at 40 hours per week. These can be customized.
  • You can optionally give the candidate the opportunity to indicate availability that is less than the minimum hour required per week, or more than the maximum required hours per week.

  • An optional interval can be selected which will be how the hours per week show in the candidate journey.

For example, you could have it set at 4-hour intervals, which will give the candidate the option to select an option from the following:

  • Less than 12 hours
  • 12 hours
  • 16 hours
  • 20 hours
  • 24 hours
  • 28 hours
  • 32 hours
  • 36 hours
  • 40 hours
  • More than 40 hours per week.

You can make the question mandatory for the candidate. If you don’t make it mandatory, the candidate can skip the question and the recruiter will not know the number of hours a week that the candidate is available.
