The setup guide provides step by step guidelines and instructions on connecting the Workable account with the Harver that will allows you to invite candidates to an assessment and see the candidate results in the Workable.

Before setting up the integrations, check the Integration Guidelines and Integration FAQs to make sure you have all necessary information and configurations ready in Harver Platform.

Instructions before enabling Integrations

Before enabling integrations;

  1. The requisitions in ATS and vacancies in Harver are configured.
  2. Make sure you have all the API Token generated in / provided by the Workable.

Harver Integration Configuration Steps

Login to Harver platform to perform below steps. You must be a Harver Admin to be able to complete all these step.

  1. In Harver platform, go to Integration Menu tab and clicks Add new integrations. Select the Workable from drop down and Clicks Add Integrations.Add Integration_Dropdown 5.png
  2. This will start configuring the integration and progress will be shown. Once completed, click on Continue to Overview.Setup Progress (3).png
  3. In General section, only ATS First Ad-Hoc integration pattern is supported so will be enabled by default.General Section_Select Pattern (3).png
  4. Then go to section Credentials, and;

    1. In Harver in ATS tab, configure the API Tokens generated in the workable which is used to validate the requests from Harver to Workable Marketplace. See Generate API access token section in workable integration configurations.Credentials_Harver to ATS (1).png

    2. Then go to ATS to Harver tab and copy the Token, which need to be configured in Workable integration configuration when enabling integrations in Workable, as it will be used to validate the requests from Workable to Harver.image-20240413-094559.png
  5. Next go to Harver to ATS section and configure the following i.e.
    1. Optional: Click on Assessments Tab and enable the assessment status and enter the ATS Field Id as per ATS requirements e.g. competency scores. This is only used to send personality test score and is specific custom requirement so please connect with Harver support team for more guidance.Edit ATS Assessments.png
    2. Next step go to Reports tab and configure reports. Following are the reports supported i.e.

      1. Candidate Details Page as URL

      2. Read only Candidate Details Page as URL

      3. PDF Report as URL

      4. Signed report as URL

  6. Once all steps and configurations are completed, go back to General section and enable the integration.General Section_Activate (3).png

If enabling integration fails, error will be shown. Please fix particular issue to enable the integrations successfully.

Note that incase you want to discontinue with ATS or disable integration due to some reason, same configuration toggle is used to disable the integration with ATS.

Integration Configuration Steps in Workable

To enable the integrations, login into the Workable.

Generate API access token

  1. First step is to generate an API access token. In Workable account, open the drop-down menu on the top right of your screen and select Integrations → Appsimage-20240408-203720.png
  2. Now click on the Generate new token button to get a token to access Workable’s API.image-20240408-203838.png
  3. Specify the name, expiration and relevant scopes i.e. r_jobs, r_candidates, w_candidates, r_requisitions.image-20240408-204011.png
  4. Click save. Copy the token generated and configure in Harver integration credentials Harver to ATS section.image-20240408-204510.png

Enable the integrations

  1. Click your profile icon in the upper right, click on Settings and navigate to Integrations.
  2. Locate Harver in the list of assessment providers integrations and click on itimage-20240213-154907.png
  3. Paste the API key in the field copied from Harver Credentials section tab ATS to Harver.image-20240213-155213.png
  4. Click Update Settings. The connection is complete and now are ready for adding Harver assessment in Workable workflow.

Adding Harver in Workflow to invite Candidate

  1. Navigate to your open Job in Workable for which you want to send Harver assessment.
  2. Click on edit and go to Workflow tab; select Add assessment,image-20240213-155843.png
  3. Select Harver and a list of the available assessments will be displayed.image-20240213-161556.png
  4. Click on the desired one and immediately the assessment will be attached to the job. Publish the Job.image-20240213-161641.png
  5. Now when candidate applies for job and moved to Harver pipeline that has assessment configured, you’ll be able to see the assessment invitation trigger on the application.

  6. Click on the icon to send the test that has been set up for this stage of your pipeline.

  7. You'll be asked to confirm and a note will be added to the candidate timeline. The test will be sent right away.image-20240217-085049.png

Candidate progress & results

When the assessment is completed by the candidate and results are returned, you will be able to see a link on the candidate’s Timeline in workable to view the results.

Validating Integration Setup

Please take a moment to ensure your Integration setup was configured successfully. We recommend you complete the following steps:

  1. Create a test Job Requisition for a position that will leverage an assessment.
  2. Add the appropriate Harver Job Code/assessment to the test requisition.
  3. Complete a candidate application, including the assessment.
    1. Confirm the candidate experience.
  4. Review results on hiring dashboard in your ATS and confirm you see the following:
    1. Assessment Recommendation.
    2. Link or access to the full report details.
