Introduction

The setup guide provides step by step guidelines and instructions on connecting the UKGPro account with the Harver that will allows you to invite candidates to an assessment and see the candidate results in the UKGPro.

Before setting up the integrations, check the Integration Guidelines and Integration FAQs to make sure you have all necessary information and configurations ready in Harver Platform.

Instructions before enabling Integrations

Before enabling integrations;

  1. The requisitions in ATS and vacancies in Harver are configured.
  2. Make sure you have all the Credentials and Tenant Alias provided by the UKGPro.

Harver Integration Configuration Steps

Login to Harver platform to perform below steps. You must be a Harver Admin to be able to complete all these step.

  1. In Harver platform, go to Integration Menu tab and clicks Add new integrations. Select the UKGPro MarketPlace from drop down and Clicks Add Integrations.Add Integration_Dropdown 6.png
  2. This will start configuring the integration and progress will be shown. Once completed, click on Continue to Overview.Setup Progress.png
  3. In General bar, only ATS First Inline integration pattern is supported so will be enabled by default.General Section_Select Pattern.png
  4. Then go to section Credentials, and;

    1. Click Harver in ATS tab and configure following credentials provided by the UKGPro ATS i.e.

      1. Login Host: Host URL used for authentication.

      2. Client Id: Specific customer Id provided by UKGPro to access customer Data.

      3. Client Secret: Specific client secret provided by UKGProHarver to ATS.png

    2. Click ATS to Harver and configure the Tenant Alias name (unique ID) provided by the UKGPro that need to be included in all assessment update requests. Additionally you will see the Token which later you need to copy to configure in UKGPro.Copy Token.png
  5. Next go to Harver to ATS section and configure the reports i.e.

    Currently two types of reports are supported which are;

    1. Candidate Details Page as URL

    2. PDF Report as URLReports.png

  6. Once all steps and configurations are completed, go back to General section and enable the integration.General Section_Activate.pngIf enabling integration fails, error will be shown. Please fix particular issue to enable the integrations successfully.

Note: If you want to discontinue with ATS or disable integration due to some reason, same configuration toggle is used to disable the integration with ATS.

Integration Configuration Steps in UKGPro

  1. Before starting make sure you are in UKG Recruiting page.
  2. Incase you are in UKG home page, then under Administration, go to Recruiting section and click on Recruiting Gateway.image-20240329-200003.png
  3. Select Settings → Integrations → Assessments and find Harver in the list. Click on Harver name to enable and configure the Harver integration.image-20240213-111739.png
  4. Now fill in the following details:

    1. Authentication Token (copied from Harver Integrations → Credentials → ATS to Harver section)

    2. In Assessment Detail section, configure Display Name as Harver and add short description in Display Description.image-20240213-124335.png

  5. Scroll down to add Harver Packages. Click on Add Package and fill in the following details:

    1. Code (Vacancy ID in Harver)

    2. Name

    3. Description

      Enable the package and click Add. Repeat this process for all different vacancies you have in Harver.image-20240213-112726.png
  6. Save all configurations.

Adding Harver into workflow to Inviting Candidate

  1. In order to map an opportunity to the specific assessment package in Harver, under Opportunities, click on All and select the requisition you want to configure with Harver Assessment.image-20240213-124835.png
  2. Go to requisition and click Screening tab, and choose Harver as assessment provider. Pick a package from the pop-up and click Apply.image-20240213-112906.png
  3. So now when the candidate apply to opportunity (job), on the Assessments tab of the candidate’s profile you will see that the assessment has been created.image-20240213-113512.png
  4. The candidate can access their assessment via their candidate page in UKG Pro (Applications → Complete assessment) and will also receive an email reminder that will take them to this page.image-20240213-113726.png
  5. Candidate has to click to start assessment and agree to Notice. At this point candidate’s data will be sent to Harver for registration and generating of a link to assessment. In a few seconds candidate will be redirected to Harver.image-20240213-113902.png

Candidate progress & results

  1. Recruiter can see the status on candidate profile e.g. below assessment is not started by the candidate and status is set to Not Started.image-20240213-114516.png
  2. And when the candidate completes the Harver assessment, the status will be updated accordingly to Completed and;

    1. Complete report is available via View Report button.

Validating Integration Setup

Please take a moment to ensure your Integration setup was configured successfully. We recommend you complete the following steps:

  1. Create a test Job Requisition for a position that will leverage an assessment.
  2. Add the appropriate Harver Job Code/assessment to the test requisition.
  3. Complete a candidate application, including the assessment.
    1. Confirm the candidate experience.
  4. Review results on hiring dashboard in your ATS and confirm you see the following:
    1. Assessment Recommendation.
    2. Link or access to the full report details.
