The setup guide provides step by step guidelines and instructions on connecting the Oracle ORC account with the Harver that will allows you to invite candidates to an assessment and see the candidate results in the Oracle ORC.

Instructions before enabling Integrations
Before enabling integrations;
- Get the Harver integration Zip file from Harver to import to ORC, steps are provided in section Import the Integration File.
- Client to prepare following information to configure in Harver.
- The domain name of clients ORC environment (the base api url)
- Client will create an ORC API User and configure the credentials (Username and password) in Harver for data synchronization.
- Candidate Return URL: For better candidate experience, in Harver Platform add the ORC applicant return URL in Harver End Page configuration provided by the ORC so candidate can be redirected to ORC to continue the application for inline flow. See End Page for more details.
Harver Integration Configuration Steps
Login to Harver platform to perform below steps. You must be a Harver Admin to be able to complete all these step.
- In Harver platform, go to Integration Menu tab and click Add new integrations. Select the Oracle ORC MarketPlace from drop down and Click Add Integrations.
- This will start configuring the integration and progress will be shown. Once completed, click on Continue to Overview.

In General Overview, select the Integration patterns that you are intend to support i.e.

ATS First Inline

Then click on Credentials in the side bar and select Edit ATS Credentials button to provide the following details;

Base URL. The domain name of client’s ORC environment

Client Username
-
Client Password for ORC client.
Client will create an ORC API User and configure the credentials (username & password) in Harver.

Next, click Harver to ATS in the side bar and in Reports tab, configure the types of reports that need to be sent to ATS. Options are;

Candidate Detail Page as URL

PDF Report as File

- On Harver to ATS, click Band tab and visit the edit page to enable the band toggle if needed per your requirements. Possible values as per configuration are Red/Green/Yellow or Great/Good/Poor Fit.
- Once all steps and configurations are completed, go back to General section and enable the integration.
If enabling integration fails, error will be shown. Please fix particular issue to enable the integrations successfully.
Note that incase you want to discontinue with ATS or disable integration due to some reason, same configuration toggle is used to disable the integration with ATS.
Importing the Integration Files in ORC
You need to start with importing the zip files provided by the Harver to enable the integrations.
Import Step 1: Upload the Zip file
- Go to Setup and Maintenance work area.
- Click the Tasks icon.

Select the Manage Configuration Packages task.
- Click Upload

Select the implementation project zip file provided by the Harver.
- Click Get Details to verify that the selected file is correct. If needed, click Update to select a different file. After verifying the file click Submit.
- When the warning message appears, click Yes. The upload process starts. Once the upload is done, the status changes to Completed successfully.
Import Step 2: Import the setup data
- Select the row where Upload - Completed Successfully appears and click the Import Setup Data button. If needed, click the Refresh icon to update the status.
- Enter the basic information

Once the import is done, the status changes from Not Started …
- To Completed successfully

Harver is now provisioned.
- If you go to the Recruiting Category Enablement task and Recruiting Category Provisioning and Configuration task, you can see that the status of the partner is set to ‘Provisioned’.
Enabling Harver integrations in ORC
This is a step where you will enable the ORC Harver integrations.
- Select Others from the Oracle ORC dashboard and click on Setup and Maintenance. If the widget is not available it can also be found in the menu.

Recruiting Category Provisioning and Configuration
- Select Harver

Fill in the following configurations from the Harver i.e.:

Reference Key: Harver account ID

Client ID: Harver API client ID

Client Secret: Harver API client secret

Assign a new user account. This will retrieve all the Harver packages.
- Fill in User name & Description 8 and click ‘OK’
- Click Activate and Save
- The integration status is now Active between ORC and Harver.
Adding Harver in Workflow to invite Candidate
The full CSP configuration of a requisition depends on customer’s use of ORC. This guide only covers the sections that involves the integration with Harver. Following sections will cover all steps necessary for inviting a candidate to perform Harver assessment.
Configuration of Candidate Selection Process (CSP)
- Select Others from the Oracle dashboard
- Click Setup and Maintenance. Note if the widget is not available it can also be found in the menu.

Select Candidate Job Applications

Then select Candidate Selection Process Configuration
- Search & select a CSP, or create a new CSP.
- When creating a new CSP, fill in a Name & Code (can be the same)

Overview of the phases and the number of states in each phase. Select a phase, or create a new phase.

In the list of states add a Request Assessment - action to the state you want the Harver assessment to trigger. In the Screening Services setup it is possible to select Harver on this state and select the specific Harver assessment.
Create the Job Requisition - Screening Services
This section is limited to the step that concerning the integration with Harver i.e. Screening services. The full CSP configuration depends on customer’s use of ORC.
Start by creating the requisition following your own standards. These pages only cover the sections that relate to the Harver integration
Select the CSP that contains the “Request Assessment” phase
Screening Services - Single Phase Setup
- Select ‘Harver’ for the partner and select an assessment user account.
- For Single Phase Setup do not check the ‘Add Assessment Phase’ checkbox.
- Click the ‘Edit' button to configure the Single Phase assessment setup. Here the trigger for the Harver assessment can be selected for that one phase/state.
After this step click on the ‘Submit' button on the top right corner of the window.
Screening Services - Multiphase Setup
- Select Harver for the partner and select an assessment user account.
- If you want to use Multiphase assignments then click the Add Assessment Phase. After clicking “OK” you will need to click on the pencil icon to add Harver as the assessment.

Click the Edit button to configure the multiphase assessment setup. Here the triggers for the Harver assessments (the Harver vacancies) can be selected for each phase/state. After this step click on the Submit button on the top right corner of the window.
Inline assessments - setup
This is needed if you are supporting the Inline assessment where candidate gets redirected directly from ORC to Harver, is automatically logged at Harver and will be redirected back to ORC to submit the application when finished. Following are steps to invite the candidate;
- To use the inline setup it is necessary of import a recent Harver integration zip file. “harver_production_v2" or higher. When that is done you can switch on Inline support in the Edit Assessment Partner page.
- Configure the external flow in Candidate Experience > Job Application Flow Configuration
- Assessment needs to be part of the flow
- In the Job Configuration > Setup use the flow with the Inline Assessment step
- The setup is complete for inline flow.
Candidate applying for a job - inline
- When the assessment is configured as an inline assessment, the candidate will see this page and needs to click on Take Assessment. The candidate is then redirected to Harver and is already logged in at Harver
- When Harver is finished the candidate is redirected back to ORC and the page shows Assessment Completed. As a candidate it is possible to stop the Harver assessment any time and continue at a later moment.
Candidate progress & results
Below is the complete end to end journey from moving application through different CSP steps i.e. from new to offer.
- Click the Application and select the candidate you want to move in the dashboard.
- Click Actions dropdown and select Move option or click on the Move button in the top right corner
- If the candidate already did an assignment. It is visible in the Assignments section.

Select the Phase and the State at which the Harver assessment is configured, and save.
This will trigger the Harver assessment and the candidate will be invited to start the Harver Assessment.

The assessment will appear on the candidate page
- The moment the application moved to the phase the application status is changed in requested.
- When the job assessment is created at Harver the status will change in initiated
- When Harver is the first stage: The candidate can click Take assessment which will trigger the event to Harver to send the invitation email to the candidate
The recruiter doesn’t have to move the candidate to a Harver stage. The candidate can click directly on take assessment.

The candidate received an invitation email with a magic link to start the Harver assessment. There is no need to register at Harver, because of this magic link.
- When the candidate finishes the Harver assessment the Status will be updated to Completed and the score and/or band will be filled
- When the candidate completed the Harver assessment a detailed result report can be viewed by clicking on View Results
Validating Integration Setup
Please take a moment to ensure your Integration setup was configured successfully. We recommend you complete the following steps:
- Create a test Job Requisition for a position that will leverage an assessment. Make sure that the requisitions in ATS and vacancies in Harver are configured before testing end to end flow.
- Add the appropriate Harver Job Code/assessment to the test requisition.
- Complete a candidate application, including the assessment.
- Confirm the candidate experience.
- Review results on hiring dashboard in your ATS and confirm you see the following:
- Assessment Recommendation.
- Link or access to the full report details.
