Humanly Chatbot


The setup guide provides step by step guidelines and instructions on configuring the Humanly Chatbot in Harver which is Harver partner for chat-based candidate screening before the candidate starts the candidate journey.

Candidates go through various questions and FAQs and at the end of the chat, Humanly will decide if the candidate should start a Harver Assessment, and if there’s routing in the chat logic, which Vacancy is the best for the candidate.

Humanly collects FirstName, LastName, Email, and additional questions and passes them to Harver during the create candidate request.

Before setting up the integrations, check the Integration Guidelines and Integration FAQs to make sure you have all necessary information and configurations ready in Harver Platform.

Instructions before enabling Integrations

You should have the following ready before setting up the integration.

  1. The requisitions in ATS and vacancies in Harver are configured.

Integration Scenario

Currently Harver supports following integration scenario with Humanly i.e.

  • Humanly to ATS, Humanly to Harver to ATS

Below are the complete steps for end to end flow;

Steps: Humanly to ATS, Humanly → Harver → ATS

  1. The candidate starts the chat.
  2. At the end of the chat experience, Humanly creates the candidate/application in the ATS.
  3. ATS returns the Candidate ID, Requisition ID, and Application ID to Humanly.
  4. Humanly registers the candidate in Harver.
  5. Harver returns a Magic Link (authenticated URL to start the assessment immediately).
  6. Humanly will show the assessment link/button to the candidate.
  7. When the candidates click this link/button they get redirected to the beginning of the Harver Assessment. At same time, Harver send In-Progress assessment status to the Application in ATS.
  8. When the candidate completes the assessment, Harver will update the Application assessment result in ATS and sends details according to the configuration (Score, Label, CDP link, etc).image-20240330-042552.png

Currently Harver supports only Workday ATS but if you are using another ATS, please contact us to meet your business needs.

Harver Integration Configuration Steps

Login to Harver platform to perform below steps. You must be a Harver Admin to be able to complete all these step.

  1. In Harver platform, go to Integration Menu tab and clicks Add new integrations. Select the Humanly Marketplace from drop down to add integrations.Add Integration_Dropdown 4.pngSetup Progress (4).pngThis integration by default is ATS First-Inline integration.
  2. Next go to ATS to Harver section and configure the ATS if needed incase Humanly creates a candidate in ATS.Currently Harver supports only Workday ATS but if you are using another ATS, please contact us to meet your business needs.Connected ATS.pngConnect ATS.png

  3. In Credentials, you will need to copy the token in order to configure in Humanly to connect to Harver.Copy Token (2).png
  4. Once all steps and configurations are completed, go back to General section and enable the integration using toggle.General Section_Activate (3).pngIf enabling integration fails, error will be shown. Please fix particular issue to enable the integrations successfully.

Note that incase you want to discontinue with Humanly Chatbot or disable integration due to some reason, same configuration toggle is used to disable the integration with ATS.

Validating Integration Setup

Please take a moment to ensure your Integration setup was configured successfully. We recommend you complete the following steps:

  1. Create a test Job Requisition for a position that will leverage an assessment.
  2. Add the appropriate Harver Job assessment to the test requisition.
  3. Complete a candidate application, including the assessment.
    1. Confirm the candidate experience.
  4. Review results on hiring dashboard in your ATS and confirm you see the following:
    1. Assessment Recommendation.
    2. Link or access to the full report details.
