The setup guide provides step by step guidelines and instructions on connecting the iCIMs account with the Harver that will allows you to invite candidates to an assessment and see the candidate results in the iCIMs.

Before setting up the integrations, check the Integration Guidelines and Integration FAQs to make sure you have all necessary information and configurations ready in Harver Platform.

Instructions before enabling Integrations

Before enabling integrations, make sure you have;

  1. The requisitions in ATS and vacancies in Harver are configured.
  2. From iCIMs to configure in Harver;
    1. Base url: This is endpoint for iCIMs integration and need to be configured at later stage in Harver.
    2. Username & Password: API Credentials from iCIMs for connecting to iCIMS.
    3. Customer ID: The client’s unique identifier in iCIMS (numeric value). This will be configured in Harver configuration steps as well.
  3. From Harver to share with iCIMs;
    1. Harver Vacancy: Assessment format for the seamless experience or interactive (single assessment) experience only. : Harver Vacancy Name – Harver Vacancy ID
    2. List of IP Addresses to Whitelist: 80.113.26.114, 35.158.208.210, 54.229.248.124, 52.51.44.10, 124.43.10.11, 52.29.23.29, 34.241.38.163, 34.247.200.75, 54.171.191.142, 52.48.58.158
  4. Candidate Return URL: For better candidate experience, in Harver Platform add the iCIMs applicant return URL in Harver End Page configuration provided by the iCIMs so candidate can be redirected to iCIMs to continue the application. See End Page for more details.

Harver Integration Configuration Steps

Login to Harver platform to perform below steps. You must be a Harver Admin to be able to complete all these step.

  1. In Harver platform, go to Integration Menu tab and clicks Add new integrations. Select the iCIMs Marketplace from drop down and Clicks Add Integrations.Add Integration_Dropdown 7.png
  2. This will start configuring the integration and progress will be shown. Once completed, click on Continue to Overview.Setup Progress (5).png
  3. In General section, select the Integration patterns that you are intend to support i.e.

    1. ATS First Inline

    2. ATS First Ad-HocGeneral Section_Select Pattern (3).png

  4. Then go to section Credentials, and;

    1. Click Harver in ATS tab and configure following credentials provided by the iCIMs i.e.

      1. Username, associated with the API account

      2. Password, password associated with the API account

      3. Customer ID, client identifier in the iCIMsHarver to ATS (1).png

    2. Go to ATS to Harver tab where you will see Harver generated credentials Username and Password that will be used to connect to iCIMs ATS for basic authentication. They need to be copied to be configured in iCIMs.ATS to Harver.png
  5. Next go to ATS to Harver section and configure;

    1. Multi-Phased Assessments Configuration - By Activating this feature, this will allows recruiters to select more than one Harver assessment (vacancy) at different points in their recruiting process when inviting candidates.Edit ATS to Harver.pngEdit Mode_ATS to Harver_Multi_Phase.png

    2. Assessment Status - This feature is used to enable the ATS Field Name that will be used by the integration to signalize in the ATS that a candidate is in progress at Harver e.g. In-Progress status.Edit Mode_ATS to Harver_Assessment Status.png
  6. Go to Harver to ATS section and click;

    1. Assessment tab: Enable the the ATS field name which is used by the integration to signal the ATS about candidates assessment status when completed. And also configure the ATS field Name and ATS field Id provided by the ATS.Harver to ATS Assessments.png

    2. Click Reports tab to configure all the reports that need to be supported.Reports (1).png

      Also add ATS Field Ids for each supported report.Edit Reports.png

  7. Once all steps and configurations are completed, go back to General section and enable the integration.General Section_Activate (4).png

If enabling integration fails, error will be shown. Please fix particular issue to enable the integrations successfully.

Note that incase you want to discontinue with ATS or disable integration due to some reason, same configuration toggle is used to disable the integration with ATS.

iCIMs Integration Configuration Steps

To configure the Harver credentials, endpoints, whitelisting IPs and enabling the Harver integration in iCIMs ATS, contact iCIMs support team on steps.

Adding Harver in workflow to invite candidate

To invite a candidate to Harver, the first step is to add Harver assessment in job so the candidates applying to the requisition will be presented with the Harver assessment.

  1. Go to job and select available Harver assessment under Assessment Type as iCIMS integration resource typically helps load assessment packages.image-20240313-132634.png
  2. When candidate applies for the job,

    1. If its adhoc flow, recruiters can invite a candidate(s) to take the assessment by selecting the candidates.

    2. If its inline flow, when the candidate fills the application in iCIMS until the last step, there will be a link displayed for the candidate to proceed to the Harver platform to do assessment.image-20240313-133427.png

    3. And advancing the candidate to the recruiting workflow status Send to Harver.image-20240313-134417.png

    4. MultiPhase Support. Additionally Recruiters can invite candidates to take an additional assessment(s) by advancing the candidate to the Send to Harver status again. Recruiters will click the Confirm or Modify Package button and be redirected to Harver, where they can select the assessment(s) they want the candidate to take.image-20240313-140327.png

Candidate progress & results

  1. When candidate is transition to Harver stage in the workflow, applicant will be redirected to Harver to perform assessment. You will be able to see the status In Progress and assessment invitation triggered on the application.image-20240313-134655.png
  2. When the assessment is completed by the candidate, you will be able to see the assessment status and results updates in iCIMs for that candidate. Click Assessments section under Screen tabimage-20240313-135454.png

Validating Integration Setup

Please take a moment to ensure your Integration setup was configured successfully. We recommend you complete the following steps:

  1. Create a test Job Requisition for a position that will leverage an assessment.
  2. Add the appropriate Harver Job Code/assessment to the test requisition.
  3. Complete a candidate application, including the assessment.
    1. Confirm the candidate experience.
  4. Review results on hiring dashboard in your ATS and confirm you see the following:
    1. Assessment Recommendation.
    2. Link or access to the full report details.
