What is SMS Authentication
SMS Authentication allows candidates to create an account and log in using their phone number. On the landing page, candidates can choose to continue with either their phone number or email address. If a candidate selects their phone number, they will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS to verify their identity.
Configuring SMS Authentication
To enable SMS Authentication for a vacancy, follow these steps:
- Open the vacancy where you want to enable SMS Authentication.
- Scroll down to the SMS Authentication settings.
- Toggle Enable SMS Authentication.
A warning message will appear. Some ATS platforms require an email address to create or update a candidate profile. In these cases, you must add a Personal Information (PI) module to the flow. This module will automatically collect an email address from candidates who register using SMS, so you don’t need to configure the email field manually.
