What is Smart Job Navigator?
Smart Job Navigator is a feature that allows a vacancy with 1 start point to have different endpoints.
It is a new way to set up vacancies, where candidates are automatically routed to the most suitable role-specific branch (secondary assessment), based on their scores (matching indicator labels). This eliminates the need for recruiters to manually reassign candidates and reduces candidate drop-off by offering a single, automated assessment flow that minimises the need for re-engagement.
This way candidates will be routed to the best fitting jobs which will increase the quality of candidates. Alternatively it will provide early filtering for candidates that do not meet one of the base requirements.
How does this work with an integration?
The information sent to the ATS for a Smart Job Navigator vacancy depends on the integration. If a customer wants to use this feature in combination with an integration, the integration team needs to look in to the integration pattern to see what scores etc. can be send to the ATS. This will be different per ATS and standard/custom integration.
How to enable Smart Job Navigator?
Unfortunately this is not a self service feature and you will need to reach out to your account manager to request this.
Testing the Smart Job Navigator
First you will need to create the smart job navigator vacancy including all settings, base modules etc. After the branches were requested and created/added to this smart job navigator vacancy you save the vacancy and change the status to open.
When the smart job navigator vacancy is open, you will see a button at the candidate journey section saying test branches:
Once you click on test branches it will open a drawer where you can fill in the email address that you would like to use for testing the different branches. Make sure this is your real and active email address so the system can send you the passcode to login.
When you registered your email in this drawer it will show you an auto-generated email address per branch.
This means you can test all the different branches if you register with the auto generated email address listed on this screen. If you register with this email address, the system will overwrite your actual score and won’t route you based on score and indicator label, but will route you based on the email address you used for testing. This way you can test every different route a candidate can take before going live.
- The system will allow up to 10 test email addresses, if there is a need for more you will first need to remove one before adding a new one.
- Testing branches is only available for vacancies in status open, as otherwise it is not possible to register for the vacancy and go through the journey.
- You can remove and re-add the same email address without it impacting or breaking the generating of email addresses.
If you have added the email address to the list and after generating test email addresses, ad more branches to the vacancy the system will not automatically provide an email address for this new added branch. If you want to test the new branch as well you will first have to remove and re-add the email address to receive an autogenerated test email address.
