The setup guide provides step by step guidelines and instructions on connecting your Dayforce and Harver Accounts, which will allow you to invite candidates to an assessment and see the candidate results in the Dayforce ATS.

Checklist before setting up Integration
You should have the following ready before setting up your Dayforce integration.
- Ensure that requisitions in the ATS are configured.
- Harver account ID. (used on the headers on ATS requests inbound to Harver)
- Ensure that vacancies in Harver are configured, as the Vacancy Names and Vacancy IDs will be required in your Dayforce account
- The following credentials provided by Dayforce, as they will be used to setup the credentials for the integration in Harver:
- Username, associated with the API account
- Password, password associated with the API account
Harver Integration Configuration Steps
Login to Harver platform to perform below steps. You must be a Harver Admin to be able to complete these steps.
- In Harver platform, go to Integration Menu tab and click Add new integration. Select Dayforce Marketplace from the dropdown and Click Add Integrations.
- This will start configuring the integration and progress will be shown. Once completed, click on Continue to Overview.

Click Dayforce Marketplace in the side bar and select General section, only ATS-First Inline integration pattern is supported so will be enabled by default.
If not enabled, please click the toggle to enable the integration pattern.

Next, click Credentials in the side bar. On this page, click the Harver to ATS tab and configure the following credentials provided by Dayforce:
- Username, associated with the API account
- Password, password associated with the API account
Once the credentials have been entered, click the Save button to save changes.
Note: Harver integration will fetch Base URL dynamically from Inbound 'PushBackLink.Score's' and 'PushBackLinks.PushBackLinks'.

After you have saved the credentials for the Harver to ATS, you can click on the ATS to Harver tab, where you will see Harver generated credentials, Username and Password, that will be used to connect to Dayforce ATS for basic authentication. Copy these credentials to configure them in Dayforce.
Note: You also need to provide your Harver’s Account ID in the Dayforce ATS.This will be submitted within the headers of the requests to Harver.

Next, click Harver to ATS in the side bar. In this page, click the Edit reports button and add as many reports as needed, one after the other. When done adding preferred report types, click save.
Note: Reports are optional. If you choose to add reports, note that each report type can only be added once. You may add multiple different reports as needed.
- Once all steps and configurations are completed, click General in the side bar and activate the integration using the Activate ATS button.
If enabling integration fails, the error(s) will be shown. Please fix particular issue(s) to enable the integration successfully.
Note: incase you want to discontinue with ATS or disable integration due to some reason, same button (now “Deactivate ATS“ button) is used to disable the integration with the ATS.
Dayforce Integration Configuration Steps
To enable integration in the Dayforce ATS, follow the steps below:
- Start by creating a Req ID. To do this, Click on the “Add a new job requisition“ button in the Job Requisitions page.

Next, you have to link Harver as a New Provider.
Please note: You will need to reach out to Dayforce to configure this on your behalf. This step is only required once at the initial setup.

After you have linked Harver as a new provider, you have to sync assessments via your Dayforce ATS. To do this, go to “Assessment Mapping“ and then click on Update Assessment List.
Once that is run you will see all Harver’s active Assessment in dayforce and you can start configuring to each requisition.
Note: You have to update the assessment List manually to show all Harver Assessments in your account in real time. Dayforce will fetch all active Harver Assessments and will display as below:
- Next, you link your Harver Vacancy to a Requisition. To do this, follow the steps below:
- Under "Recruiting Setup" in the side menu select "Integration Mapping”
- Select "Assessment Mapping" in the page displayed. In the Assessment mapping page, Click the "+Add" button to add a new position and select the appropriate assessment for the position.
- You will notice that Harver’s Assessment name is grayed out in the Assessment field below.
- Under "Recruiting Setup" in the side menu select "Integration Mapping”
Please note: Harver does not have access to create a Req ID or assign an Assessment to a Requisition or add Credentials. You will have to do this yourself, with assistance from Dayforce should you need to.
Inviting candidate to Harver Assessment
- Select the job requisition and go to candidates to see the list of candidates who applied for the requisition.
- Select the Candidate(s) you wish to take the assessment, click on Screen, and you will see Send Assessment. Recruiters will need to use send assessments to trigger the Harver assessments for candidates.
- Review the email template which will contain the assessment link.
- Candidate receives an email from either Dayforce or Harver (optional) to take the assessment.
- The status of the assessment will be sent which means “in progress.” Refresh the candidate log for updates.
- After the candidate completes the assessment, the status will change to Completed. The score and recommendation will populate.
Assessment Report
Once a candidate takes the assessment, you will see a report in your ATS that looks like this:
