The Virtual Interview module is scorable. Recruiters are required to manually watch, review, and rate each candidate’s response using the rating scale configured in the module settings.
Once all ratings are submitted, the module score is automatically recalculated.
Virtual Interview questions are not rated by AI; all responses must be reviewed and scored manually by recruiters.
How to Start Rating
There are two ways to begin rating a candidate’s Virtual Interview:
- From the Candidate Overview Page You can open the list of candidates who require rating and review them one by one. Use the navigation controls to move through the list efficiently.
- From the Individual Candidate Details Page Open a candidate’s profile and start rating directly from the Virtual Interview widget.
Starting from the Candidate Overview page
Left column of the rating view contains each applicant from the Candidate List view in the order that appears on the Candidate List view.
The number next to the initials represents the amount of recruiters that have scored that specific applicant.
The right column starts with the Vacancy that the applicant applied to and the email address of the applicant.
Each question box contains video answer, the question and rating criteria that can be expanded.
Each question must be either rated or ignored before submitting. Ignoring a question means that the module score will not be affected by that question.
At the bottom we can either open the Rating Guide or View the candidate details.
Starting from the Candidate Details Page
You can start rating by cliking the Rate button on the Virtual Interview widget.
The videos and rating uI will appear on the left handside.
Scoring Results
When you finished rating, the results are recalcualted and they are visible on the widget.
Re-generating the PDF reprot will also show the module results updated.
How is the Module Score calculated?
We take all the actual ratings that the recruiter has rated (skips are ignored), convert that to percentages (1 out 5 becomes 20% and 4 out of 5 becomes 80%), and average those for the final score.
To use that 'final score', you incorporate it into one of the Matching Indicators of your Matching Profile where you can choose how important Grading is compared to everything else.
Right now, only overall VI is supported (so average of all the questions in all the modules)
Each question/answer has the same weight, and the weight can't be modified at this stage.
If nonstandard rating scales are used, the Module Score is linearly applied to a 100% scale, where every point in the scale is worth the percentage
1-3 - 33%
1-5 - 20%
1-7 - 14.2%
1-9 - 11.1%
1-10 - 10%
Important, scale values are not taken into consideration. Eg.
1 - 3 - 5 - 7 - 9 is a 5-point scale, where each point is valued at 20%.
1 - 20%
3 - 40%
5 - 60%
7 - 80%
9 - 100%
Multiple recruiters can rate the same candidate. In that case, we are using a weighted average calculation. That way, each recruiter that has rated a question has equal weight for that question. That way if a recruiter only rates only one question, and ignores the rest
Ignoring Question
If a question is ignored, it will not be considered in the Module and Matching score.
