Regions

A Region is a group of Locations. A user assed to a reagion has access to all locations linked to that region.

Recruiters with Region(s) assigned often referred to as Region Managers.

A region can include:

  • multiple locations overseen by a regional team
  • or hundreds of stores for large enterprises

Regions help customers organize hiring responsibilities and provide a layer for regional oversight.

Examples:

  • North Region – NL (42 stores)
  • Paris Metro Region (12 locations)
  • Midwest Region – US (380 stores)

Candidates cannot be assigned to regions, only locations.

Why Use Regions?

Regions are useful when you operate with multiple locations but want certain recruiters to have access to all (or a subset) of those locations.

Instead of assigning every location individually to each recruiter, you can:

Create a Region, Link multiple locations to that region, and Assign the region to the recruiters who should have access.

This simplifies permission management significantly.

Managing Regions

Regions can be added and managed under Account Settings → Regions.

To add a new Region, simply click Add Region and enter the region name.

In the Regions list, you can hover over any existing region to reveal additional actions: Edit, rename the region Delete, remove it from the account.

Assigning Locations to Regions

To use regions effectively, you must link each location to the appropriate region.

Please note: A location can belong to only one region at a time. Regions act as grouping containers for recruiter access.

To assign a location to a region:

  1. Go to Locations in the top menu.
  2. Select the location you want to update.
  3. Click Edit
  4. Choose the region where the location belongs.
  5. Save your changes.

Recruiters assigned to that region will automatically gain access to all locations within it.

Users Assigned to a Location

On each location, you can see all recruiter users who have access to manage candidates for that specific location. There are two types of assignments:

Directly Assigned Users

These users were explicitly added to the location. You will see an X icon next to their name. Clicking the X removes their access to this location immediately.

Users Assigned via a Region

These users appear with a (Region) label next to their name. Their access comes from the region the location belongs to. Since their permission is inherited from the region, you cannot remove them from the location directly

To remove their access, you must either: Remove the user from the region or Change the location’s assigned region.

This ensures consistent and predictable permission management when regions are used.
