Result Report Changes 2026 September

Follow

We've made a series of updates to the Results Report based on direct feedback from our clients. These changes are designed to make reports faster to scan, easier to understand, and more focused on the information that matters most during the hiring process.

Below is an overview of what's changed and why.

Good fit" indicator color

The "Good fit" label now appears in light green instead of black, making it easier to recognize at a glance and distinguish from other results in your report.

After:

Visual bars for competency scores

Competency results now display as color-coded bars, making it faster to scan and compare scores at a glance. Scores are grouped into three bands: Developing (below 40%), Proficient (40–60%), and Advanced (above 60%).

Before:

After:

Smarter ordering of matching indicators, traits, and competencies

These are now listed by their importance (weight) in the matching profile, with the most significant shown first. Items with equal weight are sorted alphabetically, so your reports are easier to prioritize and scan.

Before:

After:

Option to display weights for matching indicators, traits, and competencies

You can now choose to show the relative importance (weight) of each matching indicator, trait, and competency directly in the report. Since this adds extra numbers to the view, it's off by default — admins can turn it on in the Reports Hub settings if you'd like Hiring Managers to see this level of detail.

Strengths & Opportunities on the summary page

Reports now open with a quick snapshot of two key strengths and two areas to explore further, pulled from the top and bottom traits or competencies in the matching profile. This gives Hiring Managers an immediate starting point for the interview, without having to dig through the full report first. This section appears only when the matching profile includes a Personality Print.

Before:

After:

Clearer, more client-friendly terminology

Terms like "matching profile" and "matching indicator" have been renamed throughout the Results Report to "Job Fit Profile" and "Job Fit Indicator," along with other default text updates, making reports easier to understand and scan.

Before:

After:

Visual bars added for components within mixed matching indicators

Components such as Cognitive subtests, JKTs, SJTs, and other assessments now display with a visual bar and description, making results easier to scan at a glance — similar to the recent update for competencies. When these components appear alongside Personality Print items in a mixed matching indicator, their bars are shown in a neutral blue, without labeled benchmark ranges (such as "Developing" or "Advanced"). This keeps the presentation scientifically accurate by avoiding fit labels where they wouldn't be appropriate. The same applies to competencies and traits shown within a mixed indicator — traits display only the candidate's position, without a labeled range.

Before:

After:

Clearer context for components within mixed matching indicators

Each component now includes a short description explaining what it measures, along with a "breadcrumb" trail showing which assessment it belongs to. This makes it easier to understand how each result fits into the bigger picture.

Before:

After:

Shorter, more focused reports by default

Assessment Results Details and the trait breakdown per competency are now hidden by default, since most clients found they added length without much additional value. Account admins can still turn these back on at any time in settings.

Important
The Locations section (showing locations the candidate selected via the Multi Location Picker) has been moved out of Assessment Results Details and now appears at the end of the report whenever a Multi Location Picker module was part of the journey — so this information remains visible by default even with the other details turned off.
