Development Report

Follow

Development reports are based on the Personality Print assessments and the content is generated based on the results for each Matching Indicator.

For this report to be available, the candidate needs to have completed the Personality Print module in their assessment.

Accessing the development report

For a recruiter to be able to execute any of these actions, they need to have access to Personal Identifiable Information.

A separate development report is generated for each Matching Indicator with personality print.

On the Candidate Detail Page, from the Development Report widget, the recruiter can open a new tab with the development report in it.

Through the drop-down on the top right, the user can change the development report’s language.

By default it will be in the same language as the one the candidate took the assessment in.

You can download it as PDF or Print it.

Multiple Matching Indicators

A vacancy can have more than one matching indicator with personality print components. When this is the case, a separate development report is generated for each Matching Indicator with personality print. When they click the link, the user is presented with a selection screen with the different development reports options on it.

Emailing the development report

Previously the development report could be sent manually from the Candidate Detail Page. This feature is being deprecated in favor of the ability to add the link to the development report to other email templates.

Read about automatic sending in detail here: Sending Development Reports with Communciation Set Emails

Adding Development Resources

Development resources are links to learning content focused on a specific personality trait or personality competency. Admins can add development resources in account settings, on the Development Reports page.

Competencies vs Traits

There are two different types of development report — one based on competencies, and the other based on traits. The type of development report depends on the Personality Print assessment, you can select the following:

  • Personality Print Hourly Matching Indicators are traits based.

  • Personality Print Professional with competencies Matching Indicators are competencies based.

  • Personality Print Professional with traits Matching Indicator are traits based.

Highlights Page

At the start of each development report you will find a Highlights Page. This page contains:

  • An introduction to the report (top),

  • a highlighted set of traits or competencies that we recommend the reader focuses on (left column),

  • an overview of all the personality traits or competencies included in the report (right column).

Strengths, Opportunities, and Potential

Both traits and competencies are divided into categories in the development report. Traits are classified as either a strength or a development opportunity. For competencies we introduced a third category in the middle at People Science’s request: potential strengths.

For traits

  • Strength: the traits where the candidate was a good or great fit in the matching profile.

  • Opportunity: the traits where the candidate was a poor fit in the matching profile.

For competencies

  • Strength: the competencies where the candidate scores between 80 and 100% in the matching profile.

  • Potential: the competencies where the candidate scores between 60 and 79% in the matching profile.

  • Opportunity: the competencies where the candidate scores between 0 and 59% in the matching profile.

Main Report Body

Trait-based reports have two sections: first the list all the strengths, then all the opportunities. For each trait there is a definition, a description of the expected behavior, and some advice.

Competency-based reports are organized per competency. For each competency, its underlying traits are categorized as strengths or opportunities, and the same content as above is provided.
